Metaphysical Puzzle

What if there is a parallel reality where COVID-19 does not exist? In a quantum universe of infinite possibilities, where all time and experience exist at once, it is highly probable.

So, if that alternate experience does exist in all of time, my next question is, why has humanity as a collective chosen to focus on this reality at this time?

Perhaps humans have been conditioned to expect struggle and misery before ease and joy? This is a postulation worthy of consideration. If that is indeed the case, this is an opportunity for our collective consciousness to choose a different reality.

Our minds are powerful and that which we focus on expands. Humanity could choose  the idea of wellness rather than illness. It’s a metaphysical puzzle worth pondering.

Shakespeare’s Dictum

Straight from the pen of William Shakespeare some 400 years ago… Shakespeare might advise the same in these times.

What do you think?

Life’s a Miracle

When I look at the beauty of the planet and all life that exists here, I cannot see it any other way. Life is a miracle!

Of course, as is the case with everything else, it is all in what we each make of life. As Albert Einstein said, “There are only two ways to  live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

Which way do you choose to live it?

Many Voices

It’s time for real change, we can all see that. But, is humanity ready to do the real work
necessary to get “from here to there”? It seems that many want to bully others into submitting to their idea of a good society, rather than taking a cooperative approach.

We must resist the bullying and shaming. It’s essential that we ask our own questions, then listen to others and work cooperatively to achieve social solutions.

The Small Joys

Pearl S. Buck may have said it best: “Many people lose the small joys in the hope for the big happiness.” Perhaps this is one of the silver linings in the dark cloud of 2020. We have been forced to stand back from our normal ways, so we that may re-evaluate life.

I doubt any of us will ever again take for granted the simple pleasure of meeting face-to-face with a friend for a cup of coffee and a heart-to-heart chat. Of such humble threads is the richest fabric of life woven.
