The moon lit my blind
last night, illuminating
my insomnia.
“Silly girl”, she laughed,
“You fret so over nothing!
Time to let it go.
“The ‘reality’
that torments you is but a
a false illusion.
“Politicians come,
inevitably they go;
they’ll be forgotten.
“Plant your corn, hoe it
well, and I’ll help you grow it;
read your almanac.”
“The seeds feel my pull,
the waxing and the waning,
the eternal show.
“Drink of my silver,
purify your thoughts, trust in
your infinite self.”
Then the light passed, but
moon’s laughter echoed as I
drifted to slumber.

Definitely the sentiment of the time. Spring will hopefully help us refocus

Winter is the time of contemplation and reflection. Spring is not just a rebirth of nature, but also of us. Yes, a time for refocus.

Such are the nights; especially when the moon is full. Since I learned about surrendering to God, and that “reality cannot be threatened” I sleep better. That said, I often do get up between 12 and 3 am. I have a little party, then go back to sleep.
Grateful always, I don’t have to go to work in the morning! 🍀🍀🍀

The moon was up before I went to bed, and the sky was quite magnificent. Very clear and crisp atmosphere,and many stars were visible in spite of the moon’s brilliance. Later her path crossed my bedroom window. I see that there will be a full blood worm moon tonight and a full lunar eclipse. That should be quite spectacular! Can’t wait to see the photos of that. 🙂
