It is a big one. I grew up in a family of girls. All hopes were placed on the most beautiful among us. She became a model. In the emphasis on beauty, her mental health and inner pain were ignored, as was the rest of our needs. Hers is a tale of tragedy and so symbollic of a generation who worshipped only the surface qualities of a woman.

VJ, I think we need to actively bust society’s stereotypes in order to change things. “Beauty” is a big one.
