Our telepathy
joins in a monumental
hello of two hearts.

I call, you come, and
brush gently against the boat,
crooning your love song.

Pausing a moment,
is that a wink I detect?
You flirt, then farewell!

Will you invite me
to frolic in frothing waves?
Besotted, I wait.

      Thanks, VJ. Just before a whale watching trip, I did a meditation and asked for a whale to come and say hello to me. I really focused, imagining the whales in the ocean, listening. We weren’t sighting many that day. I was distracted on one side of the boat, and the guide came up to me, with urgency, and said, “You must come over here!” Just as I came over, the whale arrived and rubbed up against the boat, and gave this marvelous groan. I absolutely knew it was the “hello” I requested. It was thrilling. 🙂
